A pivotal moment in his life—a divorce that revealed his second child was not biologically his—led to a profound spiritual awakening. Immersing himself in the Dalai Lama’s teachings on happiness, Troy embraced Buddhism’s practical wisdom, learning to navigate life’s challenges through the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.

Today, Troy combines his storytelling expertise with his life coaching practice to empower others to overcome adversity and live boldly. His fellowship with the American Leadership Forum (ALF) and work with renowned nonprofits such as the Rothko Chapel have deepened his commitment to allyship and social justice.
